Clean and green with pheromone traps

Farmers involved in the Crop Doctor service delivered by the Bihar Agricultural University team under the direction of A/Professor Ram Datt and supported by International Agriculture for Development are using far less pesticides thanks to the use of pheromone traps placed strategically within their vegetable crops. Now there is far less reliance upon the use of pesticides, since the fruit flies are attracted to the pheremone traps where they are then trapped and controlled.
